The world will end on August 17, but the Fidelity fund, the world’s biggest and most diversified fund, will be released the day before the end of the year, the fund’s management team announced on Wednesday.
Fidelity’s annual fund release will take place on August 11, 2018, according to the firm’s website.
The fund, which has more than $2 trillion under management, is one of the largest fund managers in the world.
The Fidelity Investment Board is also releasing a new index of stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds in the United States and the United Kingdom, including the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index, which is up 17 percent in the past year.
The index tracks a broad range of stocks and ETFs from major U.S. and global stocks to smaller stocks from emerging markets.
The new index is expected to be released by the end, but investors are asked to wait until then.
The announcement comes as the S&P 500 is up 7 percent, and the Nasdaq Composite Index is up 14 percent.
