The Ultimate Fighter 19 finale aired Monday night, and in the main event, the winner was undefeated former UFC featherweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Rousey defeated Ronda Jones, a former Strikeforce champion, by submission in the third round.
Rouseya has a history of taking down the champion, but this is the first time Rousey has beaten the undefeated Rousey in the last seven years.
Rouseyan made history with the most consecutive wins in UFC history, which is also a feat that Rousey accomplished last year in a fight against Cat Zingano.
The title fight is now scheduled for UFC 205, which will take place in early December.
Rousey was the first fighter in UFC/WEC history to win four consecutive title fights, and the most recent was a submission win over Holly Holm at UFC 205 in December.
The undefeated Rouseys last two titles were both by knockout, so she may have to face the champion again.
Rouseys two losses have come by decision, and her last two wins came via decision.UFC 205 is scheduled to take place on Dec. 30, 2018.
