The endowment of the state university has grown exponentially over the past several decades, with the endowments of more than $1 billion being pledged since the beginning of the university’s existence.
The University of Milwaukee has the largest endowment, with more than 4.3 billion dollars in assets.
The other four schools on this list have roughly 1.7 billion dollars.
The University of California system has the second largest endowment, with about $1.8 billion in assets, followed by the University at Buffalo with nearly $1,500 million, the University a Texas institution with $839 million, and the University San Diego with nearly 795 million.
The total endowment amount of all these institutions is $1 trillion.
The endowements of these institutions are mostly concentrated in the cities and counties in which they are located, as well as in the suburbs of those cities and suburbs.
But they are not limited to those areas.
Some of these schools have been around for generations, and others are newer and more innovative.

The number of women enrolled at Georgia is about 16 percent.
The state of North Carolina has a total endowement of $1billion, a figure that includes all of its endowment assets.
North Carolina’s endowment is nearly the same size as that of the other schools on the list, at $2.1 billion.
The state of Washington, which has a higher average tuition than North Carolina, has an endowment worth nearly $2 billion.
